Hideous Denim Is Here To stay.

We can’t seem to make it go away but at least we can bear witness. We can document these atrocities and try to embarrass  whoever created them.

This is my calling. I feel god’s pleasure in my wrath. (Just kidding with the god part.)

Help out by sending pix or links, or just come around to gaze in horror and scream helplessly.

ashish denim jumpsuit

Let’s start off with this oversized jumpsuit by Ashish. It feels like the ugliest, stupidest, most egregious denim thing I have ever seen in my life, but experience has proven that there’s always something worse around the next corner.

But still. How unforgivable is this piece of shit? It’s begging people to laugh at it, people who don’t even know it costs $1,425.

We can laugh or cry but there are only TWO LEFT in size small. You know what that means? There are medium and large people who went, “YES, put this in my cart!” and then paid money.

Do they want to feel like Alice in Wonderland after she shrunk?  Can anyone explain?

  1. Amazing. I can’t stop seeing these overalls when I close my eyes.

They might be worse than basic True Religion jeans. Might.

  2. I’m not seeing overalls, I’m seeing the garment from a before shot of a weight loss campaign. This is some super fat man’s discarded jeans with “feminine” straps added. The holes in the knees were caused by him dragging himself along the floor to the biscuit barrel…75 times a day.

These are beyond anything previously posted and make my eyes feel sad.

I love the new blog and look forward to viewing many more pieces of Denima.

  3. Suspended – I HAVE seen that! If it doesn’t sell, they could say it’s Mike and Naomi. That would make it a little classier, right? Then, maybe Basquiat and Iman?

  4. I Like the wide leg Kenzo pants very much. I would like to buy one. I have several wide leg jeans. My 10 year old daughter was in the past laughing at me. She is now also admiring this trend. I even wear them longer. I like the floor sweeping trend and hide the shoes. It gives you an elegant look. It is not always very practical but after practicing a lot, I know how the handle this.
